Welcome to High Tailin’ Offshore Fishing Charters website.  First and foremost we want your experience with us to be the best that it can be for you and your family.  Capt Kent Fey specializes in slow trolling Live Baits for Dolphin/Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, King Mackerel, Cobia and Sailfish…  Other incidental catches are Jacks, Barracuda, Bonita and SHARKS.  We also bottom fish for Amberjack, Grouper and Snapper. Capt Kent has been fishing out of Port Canaveral and Florida waters since 1979.  He has many tournament wins to his credit and has a true desire for you to get that “catch of a lifetime” aboard his 31′ Contender outfitted with twin 300’s to get you to the fishing grounds not only safely…but QUICKLY!  It can accommodate up to 6 passengers and children are welcome 5 and over. Capt Kent is a retired Professional Lieutenant with fire rescue with over 30 years experience and is also a licensed EMT for those with medical conditions that may be of concern.

We have the best equipment and a knowledge base that is reflected in our successes daily and in the tournament arena. Capt. Kent also has seminar’s and teaches while on board.   There are many sites to see while fishing out of Port Canaveral.  There are scheduled launches from Kennedy Space Center and Canaveral Air Force Station, Submarines, Porpoise, Sharks, Sea Turtles and an occasional whale.  We are available for charter for just these events and sites also not only for the ocean but in the Inter-coastal waterways / Banana and Indian Rivers where the waters are calm and sites are abundant including Manatee’s.
