Captain Kent Fey Catching The Days Bait

Port Canaveral Fishing Charters

Captain Kent specializes in slow trolling Live Baits for Dolphin/Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, King Mackerel, Cobia and Sailfish…  Other incidental catches are Jacks, Barracuda, Bonita and SHARKS.  We also bottom fish for Amberjack, Grouper and Snapper. Wreck fishing is outstanding in this area due to the amount and size of these man-made artificial reefs.  There are also vast amount of natural reef areas out of Port Canaveral that are fish magnet areas.  These area are anywhere from 60′ deep to 270′ and we catch just about all species in these areas depending on the time of year.  July is the month for Red Snapper if the Federal Government establishes a season.  These fish are referred to as GENUINE American Red Snapper and are great table fare.  The season is short, usually 2, 3 day weekends in July so if this is something you would like to book, please visit the Book Your Trip page to send me a message.

We also troll dead baits, high-speed troll for Dolphin / Mahi Mahi, WahooKing Mackerel and Sailfish.  This is a fishery that is BEST in Spring, however it is still productive into the summer months and improves again for the Fall run. Wintertime if weather permits can also be productive.

A full day of Port Canaveral Fishing Charters for bottom fishing and trolling leaves Port Canaveral the at 7:00 am and returns at 4 pm.  Half day charters (4.5 to 5 hours) staring either at 7am, noon or tailored to suit your needs.
